ISN'T FORTY KIND OF OLD FOR THAT?

I came late to marriage and motherhood and have been writing about it ever since. My manuscript, focused on the birth of our first child and the subsequent struggles to parent and expand our family, is aptly titled, Isn't Forty Kind Of Old For That? Essays from the collection have been published in Brain, Child; Oregon Literary Review; and Literary Mama.

THE PERSONAL IS POLITICAL

For many years I worked in the political arena and I continue to be passionate about politics. After the NYT podcast, The Daily, interviewed teenaged girls about their reaction to the Brett Kavanaugh hearings, I suggested they interview boys as well . . . and they asked me to interview mine.

CONSULTING

After five years of working with a wide range of clients, I now limit my consulting exclusively to mentoring high school students through the college application process - from developing a target list of colleges to crafting an outstanding personal statement. I find it incredibly rewarding. Need a college admissions mentor? I'd love to hear from you.
